I want to keep everyone up-to-date on what is going on in my life and how they can specifically pray for me. I was recently diagnosed with tonsil cancer and will soon be receiving treatment. I plan to go to U of M for treatment. Please pray for courage, strength and for me to hear God's voice.

That picture of you with your girls is so precious and such a reminder of how crappy it is that you have to go through this. It's too bad that they have to radiate both sides but hopefully it will take care of every little bit of cancer that is lurking in there.
i love you friend

Lisa,
You're on my mind and in my prayers. Kalene made some cute prayer reminders for the MOPS women to put on their fridge or another place. Well, we put ours in the bathroom on the mirror because we visit there a lot and we have a little time to pray while we sit there - hee hee! Anyway, Kelli asked me what it was and I told her and now whenever we go in the bathroom she says "We have to pray for Lisa" and we do and now she even prays herself when she goes in there. Just wanted you to know that lots and lots of prayers are being said and I'm confident they will be answered!!

Lisa,
I am a friend of Michelle's and she told me about your news. My husband just finished 6 months of chemotherapy and 1 month of radiation for lymphoma. We also have two small children. Although times were a little rough you would now never have even known he was sick. We are praying for you. You will be amazed at the strength you find in yourself and others around you. Please feel free to call us if you want to talk to someone who has kinda been through what you are aboout to undergo. Michelle can give you my number. Hang in there!

I am glad to hear you are hanging in there, I know what a fight cancer is and I am living proof that you can and will survive the fight. Always keep your head up and god will help you through the rest.
