things going well
Today is Thursday, I am here with my dad this week. We had a great 4th of July. Lexy and Lauren loved the fireworks!! Treatment is going well. Wed and Thurs appointments were quick without delays or hang-ups in the treatment room. I saw the radiation oncologist yesterday. He was pleased with the way things are going. He doesn't see the tumor on my tonsil and can barely feel the lymph node in my neck. I asked about the hair loss and if it will come back....yes it will. Good thing my hair is already short!
I am still so confident God is working in all of this. I know it is His hands that are working through this radiation. I am so confident we desires me to be a mother for a long long time.
Today dad and I will get breakfast and maybe catch a movie later this afternoon. I am blessed to have a 8:20 a.m. appointment Friday.

Hey Lis and everyone,
I just watched a wonderful movie! It is a new release at Blockbuster and it is called "Mother Teresa." Wow! She was such a Godly woman. Her faith was so strong even in the ups and downs in life. She kept her life simple. I love how she said that a smile is the first way to show Christ, that is so awesome and true! Another thing she said, " When you do any small thing with love it is like a drop in the ocean but without the drop it would be missing." I am sure I didn't word it perfectly but watch the movie and she says it better in it. She was such an example and had a great purpose here on earth, to do everything for Christ. What an honor to know of someone who lived in my time who did so much with so little, I am so impressed!
Here is a little prayer I pray everyday before I go to work.....Oh Lord, let me be a blessing to someone today. This prayer is awesome because it works two ways, first you will be helping someone else with a blessing and you also receive one as well.
When I received that awesome note from you, Lisa, that was a blessing and what I needed! Thanks for making me feel so good and loved.

Lisa & Ray,
Sorry we haven't commented sooner - been on Vacation and away from a computer (nice sometimes). I totally agree with you about the words to Praise Him in the Storm. That is one of my favorites too. Sometimes we ask God to take us away - but instead he protects us right through it. It's great to hear the treatments are working. And I can hear your Cheery voice in your writing(even though we only met that one time at the Ball Game). You are an awesome witness to Faith in God!
Hang in there. We are Praying for you, Ray and the girls. Can't wait till your back home and healthy and able to watch Ray and the guys at the church softball games with us.

Lisa and Ray,
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 I am praying for you.

I'm glad to hear that you had a great 4th! It's hard not to when you see those little eyes the size of dinner plates as they watch the fireworks. Jake thought they were cool and wanted to help let off smokebombs (typical boy) but Nathan wasn't so sure about them and we ended up back inside after about 5-10 minutes. Oh well. Anyway honey, I am so happy that your treatment is working so quickly. That tumor is going to be GONE before you know it and you will be able to get back to the business of normal life, which probably sounds like a wonderful place to get to. I can only imagine after having gone through cancer that you must wonder how normal life could ever be just a daily grind. Anyway my friend, I love you and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Love Tanya
